Isocal is specifically formulated for the dietary management of malnutrition and other medical conditions with increased nutritional needs that cannot be met through diet modification alone.
Isocal provides a purpose formulated isotonic formula for tube feeding patients who are unable to receive adequate nutrition orally. Extra amounts of Vitamin C and B Complex vitamins have been added to Isocal to meet special needs of many tubefed patients.
- Provides isotonic feeding (Osmolality; 300 mOsm/kg water at 1 kcal/ml dilution)
- Can be reconstituted at varying concentrations (0.5 to 2.0 kcal/ml density)
- 18.79% of fat as MCT
- Lactose free
- Pleasant taste
- General tube feeding needs
- Barriers to normal ingestion (coma, paralysis)
