Isocal is specifically formulated for the dietary management of malnutrition and other medical conditions with increased nutritional needs that cannot be met through diet modification alone. Isocal provides a purpose formulated isotonic formula for tube feeding patients who are unable to receive adequate nutrition orally. Extra amounts of Vitamin C and B Complex vitamins have been added to Isocal to meet the special needs of many tubefed patients
- Provides isotonic feeding (300 mOsm/kg Water) at 1.0kcal/ml dilution to support international ICU guidelines and to avoid osmotic diarrhea.
- Tailor made product; Can prepare with 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 kcal/ml dilutions to meet energy needs with fluid restriction.
- More Energy (470kcal/100g powder) to meet high energy demand.
- Nutritionally complete and balanced formula with P:F: C ratio of 13:37:50 to achieve nutritional goals fast.
- Suitable to use as the sole source of nutrition or as a supplement via tube feeding or oral administration.
- Contains MCT for better absorption.
